Sasha sighed and stood. "Alright."

"You're going to need to travel by horse." Something glinted in Jayden's eyes. "He's... Hmm. Very interesting."

He raised an eyebrow. "How so?"

"He /enjoys/ you."

"Oh jesus."

Tugg smiled, actually smiled, patting Daniel's back, "Of course we weren't gone.'

The girl frowned and moved closer to Avery. Fast movement usually meant trouble.

Alan glanced at Sasha for a moment, pursing his lips.

Daniel pulled Tugg down onto the couch, hugging him, "I knew you guys weren't gone. I knew it, I knew it!"

Joanna frowned, "You don't need to make us anything.."

The rest of the group bustled inside as Tugg made his way over to Daniel on the couch. The boy was bouncing in his seat, despite the twinge in his wound. He was nearly beside himself with happiness, "Tugg! Joanna! Avery!"

Alan smiled, glad that they at least found some of his friends. There was one missing, though, but he and Sasha could do nothing about him.

Tugg grunted, pausing to grip his wounded leg for a moment before pushing the door open.

The sound made Daniel start in surprise. His head whipped around to look at the door and a large smile blossomed on his face, "Tugg!!"

The boy was obviously reluctant to accept any help because he even struggled up the stairs, moving slowly but surely.

"Tugg doesn't like letting anyone help him," Joanna whispered to Sasha.

He shrugged, "S-Soup?"

By the time they made it back to the Southern Colony, Daniel had woken up. He was sitting up on the couch, peering around warily. His brother wasn't anywhere in sight, but neither were his friends.

The oldest nodded stiffly and limped over to Sasha. He obviously didn't trust him or Alan at all- he was only cooperating to see Daniel.

Alan hopped down off of Randy and gestured for the other two. Joanna approached warily, though she seemed comforted by Avery. She went up first, followed by Avery. Alan hopped in front of them, taking the reins, "Make sure to hold on," he warned, "You can break a leg falling off a horse."

"But..Gerad.." Joanna moaned quietly, closing her eyes. Avery patted her arm gently, "He's already gone, Jo."

We can take you there and take care of you until you want to leave. They have food, water, housing, and plenty of medical supplies." his gaze flicked to Tugg's leg.

"I'm fine," He said flatly, running a hand through his dark blonde hair. He watched them with mistrustful hazel eyes. Surprisingly, aside from the wound, Tugg looked healthy and strong.

Avery led Joanna out after him, keeping her close by his side.
