And every single time he came across them, he would stop and his eyes were narrowed in furthered concentration. Though he accepted those that desired sanctuary, if they were bit... that was a completely different matter. There wasn't a cure. There wouldn't be a cure. And no one was stupid enough to allow someone who was bitten into their home.

"How did you get these?" he asked softly while bandaging up the minor cuts and stitching those that were horrendous.

Jayden sat him down with a smile, opening the medical kit and beginning to treat his wounds and bruises. There were several different snacks on the table -- cupcakes, carrots, pieces of cake, celery, peanut butter, water, whipped cream. And then there were the more heartier foods, such as pork chops, mashed potatoes, and gravy.

Stannis followed obediently, blinking at Jayden's hand but pushing down his discomfort. He opened his mouth to say thanks but closed it again, his face reddening with shame. No matter how many times he was polite, hed keep having to owe this kid..

Jayden grinned, hopping off the counter. "The snacks are on the table. Come on." he took his hand and lead him into the dining room.

Stannis enters a few moments later, chewing on his lip nervously. His blue gaze flickering around in awe,"..."

Jayden hummed, sitting on the kitchen counter and swinging his legs in boredom.

Stannis finally turns around when hes down the stairs, a huge burn covered his whole back, raning from just under his hair line to his shoulders to his lower back. The skin was now a horrible dull red with an almost waxy complextion. It was what he was most ashamed of in this world due to the memories linked to it... He sighs and runs one hand along the ruined flesh as he slipped on a dark brown T-shirt

Jayden hummed and shook his head with a smile. "I'm glad to help." he replied with a soft laugh and turned, skipping toward the stairs before heading down them, his hand trailing along the railing before he skipped into the kitchen.

He nods thankfully and bobs his head," I... Thank you.... God.. You've done so much for me that im not sure i'll be able to make it up.." He flashes him a crooked smilethat was oddly attractive

He nodded with a smile. "And I made some snacks, if you're hungry. We can mend your wounds while you eat."

He nods slightly and takes the clothing carefully," Thank you..." He says in a soft voice, gaze downcast. He was painfully aware that if he turned around... The poor kid would have to see his burns...

Jayden nodded. "You have no other clothes, right? Your other ones are torn?"

Stannis blinks at the clothes in suprise," You're... Giving me these..?" He asks in shock, just one thing after another... It was almost like the world outside was nthing but a nightmare..

Jayden was standing in front of the bathroom door with a gentle smile on his face and a folded pile of clothes in his hands. "Here. I thought you might want these."

After a few minutes of standing under the running water, washing the dried blood and mud off his skin, relishing the feel of being truely CLEAN for the first time in more than two years, Stan got reluctantly from the shower, taking a towel and wrapping it around his waist. He glances at the mirror and stares, so thats what he looked like.... He shook his head and pushed open the bathroom door

Jayden sat downstairs on the couch, humming softly before he decided to make some snacks, heading into the kitchen and getting out some fruit as well as some sugary items. He was sure the male would be hungry after his shower. And it could distract him from a few of the ointments, too. Some of them burned.
