Ella merely smiles and gets up," Do you dance, Earl?" She asks suddenly

Ciel glanced down at her hand, then shook it lightly, "You too, Miss Nightingale."

" That was the least enthusiastic reply i have ever received... Ever," She muses but holds out her hand to shake his," Very well, Earl Phantomhive, i look foreward to working with you."

Ciel Phantomhive folded his hands in his lap and sighed, "I suppose."

" Neither do i, i merely use them," She reples softly, staring across the crowd, lBut i do beleive now is the time to wipe our goverment clean of those horrible stains, dont you? Even if they do come back after time.."

He leaned back, his top hat tilted slightly, "I don't usually work with others."

" Then will you help me? You've always been one to poke your nose where it doesnt belong," She muses gently," and right now, thats what i need,"

"Dispose of them, as you should," Ciel said with certainty, nodding.

" Just as you are the Queen's Watchdog, I am the Queen's Nightingale," she smiles pleasantly at him," What do you think i will do with corrupt officials?"

He tilted his chin, "What do you want with information like that?"

" Corrupt as in commiting crimes to gain power, to gain wealth, to gain superiority, gain women, even men," She shoots him a shadow of smile, her green eye locking with Ciel's sapphire one," So have you, Dear Phantomhive?"

"Corrupt how?" He asked in a bored tone.

She follows with a slight smile, then settles down neatly, placing her hands in her lap," So, Phantomhive, Tell me. Have you seen the corruption jn our goverment as i have?" She asks quietly, staring across the ballroom

He nodded and headed over to the couch without waiting for Ella.

" Thank you," She curtsies again and motions to a couch nearby," Shall we?"

His sapphire eye narrowed slightly, "I suppose I could spare a few minutes to speak with you."

She curtsies to him and murmurs," Dear Earl, i have questions which i dearly need answers to, i beleive you're the only one who can answer them," She fixs her green gaze on Ciel," If you are willing to listen,"

Ciel looked up quickly, blinking, "Lady Nightingale," he greeted in his usual monotone. He nodded to her briefly.

Ella, dressed in a simple yet suprisingly stylish gown of silver and blue, she makes her way to where she sees the boy though she knows he is her age," Earl Phantomhive," she calls when she is close enough

Ciel Phantomhive was, indeed, at the party. He was dressed in a traditional Victorian suit with a top hat and his cane. His sapphire colored eye, the one that wasn't covered by an eyepatch, flicked around the room.

" Good luck, my butler," She murmurs beneath her breath, she quickly steps into the crowd and allows herself to be swept away, the Earl... He was like a brother to her beneath the Queen.. He had to have information...

"I shall see you soon, My Lady," Dmitri smiled and melted into the shadows.

" I'm going to see what i can dig up as well, plus i wish to talk to the Earl, i hear he has the most unusual butler," a small smile of a shadow touches her lips as the large doors open to reveal and enormous ballroom packed with people

Dmitri nodded with a faint smile, "Understood."
